Description

Formed in 1714, Hunterdon County, New Jersey borders Pennsylvania in the northwestern part of the state. Originally published in the Hunterdon County Democrat, this database is a collection of marriage records in the county between 1795 and 1875. The names of both bride and groom are provided along with the marriage date. Volume and page number in the original county marriage register is also revealed to aid the researcher in obtaining copies of the original record. In most records, the name of the officiator is also included. With the names of over 40,000 persons, this can be a useful database to researchers of early New Jersey ancestors.

Extended Description

The original newspaper series ran from 24 November 1915 to 06 March 1918.
