Description

Lying just north of beautiful Lake Tahoe, Reno, Nevada grew out of the Gold Rush in the American west. Since its creation in the mid-1800's the population has alternated from growing to shrinking, and in 1910 the population of the area, although shrinking, stood at about 3500. This database is a collection of funeral home records from one of the oldest and most respected undertakers in the state. With over 2200 entries, this collection includes information on persons who died between 1904 and 1919 in and around Reno, including Carson City. In addition to giving the name of deceased, place of birth, death date, and age at time of death can be found here. For those seeking ancestors from western Nevada, this can be a helpful source of information.
